| The yellow rack. Here is displayed some of the rarer MK1 bikes, all in chopper yellow and all in nice original condition. * At the top we have the very early tall frame chopper with the cables through the chopper tube and the reverse rear caliper mount. * Next is a very clean 69 AWT three speed. This complete original bike is a new addition to the museum with a special "Good things happen to good people" thanks to The Honorable Judge Robert Timms. * Here next is the ellusive 1969? chopper 10 speed in the rarer factory yellow. This bike is NOS with a bit of shelf wear. * Second from the bottom is my rider of yore, the well used 1970 derailleur 5 speed HBR. I rode this when NOS sliks were still in many bike shops for $7.95. As you can see, I have wasted yet another one here . * Lastly, here is the best girlie chopper I have ever seen that is out of it's box. Somehow nicer in yellow and Horizon blue than any other color except white. I have always thought of Brilliant Orange as the MK1 color that was most typical, but just lately, I have realized that there were many yellow sold in the USA. This color kind of grows on you. Colour.. I mean...sorry. |
