This NOS Columbia Playbike has Shimano gears and hub. Columbia used what ever they had in stock, so it was not uncommon to see some models with Sturmey Archer gears and some with Shimano. The goofey seat is a Messenger two tone saddle. The white walls are Kelly Springfield.

Behind this bike is a 1974 Personal Powered Vehicle or PPV. It had a 3 speed tranny, 3 wheels, 2 seats and was stopped by a drum brake on the 16" front wheel. The plastic shell was also the unibody.

This Special Edition Chopper or SE was made by Raleigh in 1976 in honor of the chopper production run reaching 750,000 bikes. Or mayhap it was something to do with the Queen. Either way the reverse graphic 'quicksilver' beauty here is a gem! Alloy wheels and a special frame make this actually go faster than the other MK2 bikes!

(not really) Bike purchased from John Dunne UK

This 69 Murray Eliminator may be the most outrageous that Murray got with their Musclebikes. Deep Troxel saddle, camel back frame, redline tires, 16x20, wide double back bars, rat trap front springer, Parking brake, 5 speed and some even had sprung sissy bars with pads.

Sears 10 sp Spyder. 24" redline tires and cool purple paint did not keep this from being a Manta Ray type failure. These are not sought after now so even this C9 example has little value.
